No visit to the World Cup 2010 in South Africa would be complete without a big game safari. On this guided trip, you’ll visit a game reserve in Zululand plus two private reserves near Kruger National Park. To optimize your time, you will have private road transfers and easy internal flights between camps.
Day 1 – DURBAN/KWAZULU: Arrive Durban. From here you will be driven to Zululand (approx. 3.5 hours). Overnight Ghost Mountain Inn.

Days 2-3 – KWAZULU: Enjoy two more days exploring the area on your own. Overnights Ghost Mountain Inn. (B) Optional guided activities for an additional charge include Mkuze Game Drives - $55, Hluhlulwe Game Drives - $65 and Jozini Boat Cruise - $45. All prices per person.
Day 4 – KRUGER/MANYALETI: After breakfast, you’ll be driven to Durban for your flight to Kruger Mpumulanga Airport. Drive to the Manyaleti Reserve and enjoy an afternoon game activity at Honeyguide Mantobeni. (B, D, Dr)
Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp is designed to reflect Hemingways’ Africa, this 12 tented camp is nestled in a Tamboti grove overlooking a dry river bed. The reception areas comprise a large sitting area, indoor and outdoor areas, bar and climate controlled wine cellar. Game visiting the nearby watering hole can be seen from the swimming pool deck adjoining the reception areas. The tents are comfortably furnished with king-sized beds and soft leather couches. Each tent leads onto its own bathroom with concrete bath, double shower and separate toilet.
Days 5-6 – KRUGER/MANYALETI: Enjoy two more days exploring the area on game drives. Overnights Honeyguide Mantobeni. (B, L, D, Dr)
Day 7 – KRUGER/DJUMA: After breakfast, you’ll be driven to Djuma Private Reserve in the famous Sabi Sand group reserve near Kruger. Enjoy lunch and an afternoon game activity. Overnight Djuma Vuyatela. (B, L, D, Dr)
Vuyatela is an expression of modern South African culture. Each of the eight chalets or kayas is secluded in African bush. Each of the eight bedrooms look out onto teak decks, which end in private plunge pools. Each of the chalets at Vuyatela is a collection of buildings joined to each other. The private lounge is separated from the bedroom by a beautiful Teak deck, which ends at the private plunge pool. The view from the Teak deck is into pristine African Savanna with its bounty of animal life.
Days 8-9 – KRUGER/DJUMA: Enjoy two more days at Djuma Vuyatela, including game drives and guided walks. (B, L, D, Dr)
Day 10 – FLIGHTS: After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your outbound flight. END OF SERVICES (B)
