Day 1 – ARUSHA: Arrive in Arusha this evening. Transfer to Onsea House for dinner and overnight. (D, Dr at meals)
Onsea House is a luxury inn outside of Arusha. Run by Belgian Chef Axel Janssens, the inn is the finest boutique property in the area. Axel trained at the first 3 star Michelin restaurant outside of France. Each spacious room features chic decor and luxurious en suite bathrooms.
Day 2 – ARUSHA NP: Morning game drive in Arusha National Park. The afternoon is free to relax by the pool or in the gardens. Enjoy dinner, prepared by Chef Axel, on the candle-lit verandah. Overnight at Onsea House. (B, L, D, Dr at meals)
Day 3 – NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS: Drive to the verdant Ngorongoro Highlands, with a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park en route. Arrive at Gibb’s Farm for dinner. (B, L, D)
Set among English gardens, the Farmhouse and 20 luxury cottages are the heart of a working farm. Built in 1929, the Farmhouse has retained the charm of the era. Cozy living rooms are steps away from the dining room, bar and gift shop. Just outside, a sprawling verandah and garden offer sweeping views of the valley below. Organic coffee is grown and roasted on the Farm, and a 10-acre organic garden provides 90% of the ingredients for the fresh meals. The luxury cottages feature fireplaces, wooden floors and classic interiors. En-suite garden bathrooms offer twin basins, soaking tubs and indoor/ outdoor showers. Chef Kuntal runs the kitchen at Gibb's, having recently arrived from South Asia's first destination spa: Ananda in the Himalayas. Kuntal trained under Michelin star chefs in the UK.
Day 4 – NGORONGORO CRATER: Full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch. Return to Gibb’s Farm for dinner prepared by Chef Kuntal and overnight in your cottage. (B, L, D)
Day 5 – HIKE AND SPA DAY: Enjoy an optional guided hike in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area this morning. This afternoon is free to enjoy an optional spa treatment in the African Living Spa. The spa blends modern techniques and traditional Maasai remedies to create personalized spa experiences. Treatments take place in your cottage or in the Forest Clinic. Overnight at Gibb’s Farm. Day 6-9 – SINGITA GRUMETI RESERVE: Depart Gibb’s Farm for the Lake Manyara Airstrip and your flight to Singita Grumeti Reserve. On arrival transfer to Faru Faru Lodge for four nights. Daily game activities included. Dinner and overnights at Faru Faru Lodge. (B, L, D, Dr)
Situated on a slope, basking in the abundance of animal species and birdlife around it, Singita Faru Faru Lodge lends a contemporary signature style to safari. Inspired by a botanical theme, this riverside lodge offers barefoot elegance in a laid-back rustic setting. The lines of two rim-flow swimming pools echo those of a watering hole that lies just below. The elevated viewing decks over the watering hole allow guests to view game without even leaving their lodge, and a Swahili-inspired ‘beach’ offers the opportunity for some serious rest and relaxation. The contrast of stone and canvas against cutting-edge design and comfortable furnishings is integrated in eight open-style suites and one Villa Suite.
Day 10– FLIGHTS: Depart Faru Faru Lodge this morning for your flight to Arusha. Enjoy a day room at Kigongoni Lodge before an evening airport transfer to connect with international flights. (B, L)
