Depart from Cape Town to your “Unknown Airport” – soar over thousands of icebergs en route. You will be one of the few who have set foot on this continent usually reserved for scientists. During your journey you will be joined by celebrity guide and guest speaker Rob Caskie.

Modified 4×4 vehicles will meet and transfer you to the Russian base camp on the edge of an immense sea of ice where you can choose from a variety of activities ranging in length and difficulty, including: gentle treks over to the 200ft cliff or a visit to nearby ice grottos & natural tunnels.

Cape Town’s premier chefs will serve a champagne lunch while you relax with a cocktail from the “Ice Bar”.

All participants need to be in Cape Town at least one day prior to trip departure.  Clothing requirements: Polarized glasses, a ski jacket and walking boots.  All participants 16 years and older are welcomed.
